Just settling into summer here... lots of time out on the deck, lounging with the dolls, and playing with my new macro lens and capturing the poppies and freesia I've got going in pots:
We're also attempting a lot more than our normal tomatoes and strawberries this year. (We can only container garden on the deck, since it's our only spot protected from the deer.) We're trying squash, pumpkins, bell peppers, lettuces, cilantro, and a few other things... even cantaloupe! We'll see how it goes...

And it's finally warm enough to set up the saw and tackle a project or two! Yay!! I'm SOOOOO excited about the built-ins Corey's making for our daylight basement-turning-family/guest/craft room!!
(That solid piece of wood in the middle will pop down to serve as a work table, sorta murphy bed-style. Cool, huh?!)
