Micah has been begging to help build the church ever since he started hearing talk of it more than a year ago. I think it was probably the highlight of his 2011 so far, when he got to spend a few hours "working" alongside Daddy in the under-construction Worship Center:
Meanwhile, Kendra and I went on a fabulous date to an 1895 house-turned-coffee-shop, and even got a private tour of the GORGEOUS unused living quarters on the 2nd floor! We stopped by the construction site afterward, to check on the boys and snap some pics. While we were there, Corey grabbed one of us:
And in other news, thanks to Phil and Heather keeping us accountable, Corey and I have continued trading dates/playdates with them, and the kids always have a ball when it's our turn to have Grace, Anna, and David over:
