We took a day trip to commemorate our first year of homeschooling, and celebrate the kids' successes, and sort of launch the next year (although we're not starting up until Monday). We picnicked and played at an out of town park:

We also presented them with personalized school scrapbooks, featuring a few pictures, favorite projects, thoughts from the kids (like what their favorite subject was, and what they want to be when they grow up), and letters from Corey and I telling them how we saw them grow this year--spiritually, academically, etc.
It was a special day, and a tradition I hope will really take hold!
