Oh my goodness. The kids had sooo much fun making this volcano! We were studying Mars, and made this little version of Olympus Mons. It's amazing what a day's worth of built-up anticipation can produce in terms of excitement. Here they are, checking to see that the salt dough was finally set, and waiting (sorta) patiently for me to gather all the explosive ingredients...
