The Latest

We don't really have any new news from our adoption agency, but we did get a wonderful call from them acknowledging how long our wait has been. They said there are a few families, including ours, that are their top priority right now, due to how long we've been waiting. So it felt good to hear that. They said they will be watching with an "eagle's eye" over every detail of Micah's adoption from this point forward, making sure nothing drops through the cracks. His case is still scheduled to be reviewed by the Consular (who issues visas) on November 6th, and the birth family interview is still scheduled for November 8th. I continue to hope for November travel, but my realistic side tells me it will be the Christmas Season before we're in Liberia. At any rate, we've got to be over and back by January, because Corey and I got our travel visas in the mail the other day, and that's when they expire! ;0)
