Embassy News!

Whoooo hoooooooooo!!! I woke up to an e-mail from the U.S. Embassy in Liberia, inviting us to come in Friday morning!! This is AMAZING, because as we understand it, they typically will hardly even communicate with you if you don't have a CFN (Case File Number) assigned, much less grant you an appointment!!! (CFNs are assigned when the child's paperwork is submitted, and linked up to your paperwork. The Embassy has had our paperwork for over a year, but we learned yesterday that Micah's has still not been submitted.) So at this point, we still hope that our agency will be able to cross a few more things off the "to do" list before we get there, but we take great comfort in knowing that we will be able to touch base with the Consulate and go from there regardless of the status of Micah's paperwork. This whole thing is still scary, but it's very exciting to see God opening doors and paving the way for us like this. Thank you, God! And thank you to all of you who are sooo faithfully praying for us! Keep those prayers coming!!!!!
