We've been spoiled by beautiful, sunny weather at the Pumpkin Patch the last couple years, so I had great expectations for photo ops this year, but it was not to be. We got SOAKED! Thankfully, like all real Oregonians, we have webbed feet, and so we still had a great time and found a few fun pumpkins and gourds amidst the mud. I took pictures of them instead, the next day at home. (When it, of course, was beautifully sunny.)
I think these gourds are gorgeous! I'm going to try to let them rot and self-sow on my sunny back hill, and see if I can grow something like them next summer.
